The 35-year-old former child actor Evan Ellingson of “CSI: Miami” was discovered dead in his bedroom on Sunday in a sober living facility.
The actor’s identification was verified by a coroner’s report, the outlet reported. Ellingson’s father, Michael, stated that although his son had previously battled drug addiction, he was doing well at the time of his death.

San Bernardino County officials told the publication that there didn’t seem to be any evidence of foul play in his death.
Ellingson rose to fame as a young performer. From an early age, he showed promise for a career in the entertainment world, but it appears that he decided to end his career about ten years ago.
He gained notoriety for his role as Cameron Diaz’s teenage son in the 2009 movie “My Sister’s Keeper.”
Ellingson became well-known for his portrayal of Kyle Harmon on the television series “CSI: Miami,” in which he made appearances in eighteen episodes over the course of three years.
The actor first gained notoriety at the age of 13 when he appeared as a guest star on the popular soap opera “General Hospital” and had a small part in a television film.
