Adam Rich, best known as the youngest member of the Bradford family on “Eight is Enough,” reportedly died on Saturday at the age of 54.
Danny Deraney, Rich’s publicist, announced the actor’s death on social media.
Rich’s death was investigated by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Office, Coroner’s but the situation is not considered suspicious at this time.

According to KENS5, the Coroner’s Office said Rich died in Los Angeles but has yet to establish his official cause of death.
Rich gained to prominence in the 1970s as Nichols on “Eight is Enough” for five seasons, starring in over 100 episodes from 1977 to 1981. He was admired for his endearing demeanor and distinctive hairstyle.
He then appeared in several more television programs, including “Baywatch,” “Fantasy Island,” and “CHiPs.”
Rich suffered from severe depression in his adult years that was unresponsive to treatment, and he attempted a range of experimental treatments to alleviate his difficulties.
He had many drug and alcohol-related run-ins with the cops before entering treatment and becoming sober.
