Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback, reportedly announced his retirement on Wednesday.
The 23-year veteran made headlines a year ago when he declared his retirement, but he changed his mind 40 days later and opted to play another season.

Brady attended the University of Michigan, where he played football for the Wolverines.
After being selected in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft, Brady joined the New England Patriots. He served as the backup quarterback for his first season, but took over as the starting quarterback in his second season following an injury to the team’s starter.
Brady quickly established himself as one of the league’s best quarterbacks and led the Patriots to their first Super Bowl victory in 2001.
Brady continued to lead the Patriots to sustained success, winning seven Super Bowl championships, four Super Bowl MVP awards, and multiple league MVP awards.
He holds numerous NFL records, including the most passing touchdowns and passing yards in a career, the most Super Bowl wins and appearances by a player, and the most wins by a starting quarterback.
In 2020, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and in his first season with the team, he led them to a Super Bowl victory, earning him his seventh championship and fifth Super Bowl MVP award.
