Jonathan Majors, known for his role in Marvel films, has been ordered to undergo a 52-week domestic violence counseling program.
This decision was made on Monday, sparing him from serving time in prison. Majors was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
In a recent court ruling, Judge Michael Gaffey handed down a sentence of conditional discharge to the 34-year-old actor.
It was emphasized that Majors had a clean criminal record and that both parties involved agreed that the charges did not call for imprisonment.

In a recent verdict, Majors was found guilty of two misdemeanor assault counts by a jury in Manhattan.
The judge has ordered Majors to attend an in-person batterers intervention program and continue receiving mental health therapy.
If he were to break those conditions, the actor might find himself spending a year in prison. He was instructed to refrain from any communication with Jabbari.
Majors departed the courtroom without engaging with the press. As per his attorney, Majors opted not to provide a statement due to a civil suit filed against him by Jabbari just last month.
