Nigel Lythgoe, the producer of “American Idol” and co-creator of “So You Think You Can Dance,” is allegedly now the target of yet another sexual assault lawsuit. According to a court document, this woman is the fourth to come forward in less than three months.
The purported victim filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that she was sexually assaulted in 2018.
The complaint was purportedly filed a few hours after Lythgoe made an effort to contest Paula Abdul’s accusations against him. According to the outlet, the most recent victim, who goes by Jane Doe, said in the court document that Lythoe had abused her at his house.
According to reports, she claimed he pinned her against a wall and pushed his knee between her legs to prevent her from moving. The publication stated that Lythgoe then allegedly touched her genitalia, groped her, and kissed her neck against her will in the lawsuit.
Johnson & Johnson is representing the plaintiff, Abdul, and another Jane Doe who claims Lythgoe assaulted her in 2016.
According to the complaint, the accused victim went to Lythgoe’s house for business purposes.
Following a brief business-related conversation, Lythgoe reportedly pushed her up against the outside side wall of his property.
