As their multi-million dollar houses burn in the Pacific Palisades wildfires, celebrities have now reportedly been sharing stories of complete destruction, anxious updates, and tears on social media.
One by one, celebrities are stepping forward to tell their stories as a fire ravages one of California’s wealthiest neighborhoods. James Woods sobbed on CNN when he disclosed that he had lost his house.

In an Instagram clip on January 8, “All My Children” soap star Cameron Mathison acknowledged that the fires destroyed his residence.

He posted a video of the aftermath, showing him strolling along a road where his house used to be while orange flames lit up the sky overhead.
The remnants of his house were clearly burned, and thick smoke hung over the sky in the distance. He displayed the burned-out, still-burning building to his admirers.
Mandy Moore told her fans on her Instagram Story that she was “gutted” and “devastated.”
“Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill disclosed that he was evacuated from Malibu and that his family had been “running for our lives” due to the “most horrifying fires since ’93.”
The fires engulfing major parts of LA have been estimated to be possibly the most costly in California history with large parts of major neighborhoods being completely engulfed in flames, leaving thousands of properties destroyed and hundreds of thousands displaced.
