Pritchett, age 19, was charged with a Class C misdemeanor under Alabama Code section 22-11A-21, which pertains to the intentional transmission of a sexually transmitted disease.
Later on Wednesday, he was released on a $500 guaranteed surety.
Due to the legal protections surrounding medical information and the nature of the accusation, it is unlikely that many details regarding the arrest will be disclosed to the public.
During the 2023 season, Pritchett, a former composite four-star from Columbus, Georgia, was a member of the Crimson Tide’s offensive line rotation. Due to competition for the left tackle position from true freshman Kadyn Proctor, he was in and out of the lineup on occasion.
