On November 17, the police reportedly apprehended country singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson for his alleged narcotic possession.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol verified his detention and released a statement regarding the incident.
The singer was apprehended on suspicion of speeding and narcotic possession. He was in police custody, as verified by the district attorney’s office; however, the specifics of the allegations were not confirmed.
Johnson has since been released on a $5,000 surety.
