Total Pro Sports reports that MLB and the Tampa Bay Rays are reportedly looking into social media posts accusing star shortstop Wander Franco of having a “inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old minor.”
The Rays announced the inquiry on Sunday but did not elaborate on the subject of the social media messages. In Sunday’s 9-2 loss to the Cleveland Guardians, Franco sat out.

According to several tweets on Twitter and Instagram, Franco is accused of having an improper relationship with a kid who is 14 years old in the social media posts.
Franco entered the game on Sunday from the dugout and left in the fifth inning.
