Tuesday in California, Theo Lengyel, a prominent rock star from the 1980s who was a member of the band Mr. Bungle, was detained on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend.
The Capitola Police Department issued a statement on their Facebook page confirming Lengyel’s arrest.
This morning, Theobald ‘Theo’ Lengyel was apprehended in relation to the fatality of Alice Herrmann.
Theo Lengyel, once an integral member of the avant-garde jazz-metal group Mr. Bungle, is now a murder suspect accused of killing his girlfriend.

As a result of the inquiry, human remains were discovered in a forested region of Tilden Regional Park in Berkley.
Herrmann, age 61, was last seen in Santa Cruz, California, on December 3, and has been missing ever since, according to the statement.
Her relatives reported her missing after a week passed without receiving a response.
