80-year-old According to reports, Harrison Ford’s planned fifth “Indiana Jones” film would use cutting-edge “de-aging” technology to make him look to be 40 years old.
Thanks to advances in technology, the renowned actor is prepared to offer fans a jolt from the past by seeming half his age.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, director James Mangold devised a segment in which viewers would be able to watch Ford in his peak.
The end product is supposed to be an epic rebirth of a legendary film beloved by many fans.
Fans looking for a taste of nostalgia can go no farther than the film’s opening sequence. The de-aged Ford will battle the Nazis in a castle in 1944. While the film is entirely new, viewers will be able to see a much younger Ford on the big screen.
To achieve the effect, filmmakers used vintage footage of the actor as well as his actual jacket from the 1981 film “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
Ford has stated that this new and upgraded technology would blow viewers away.
