Kevin Costner won’t be coming back after season five, according to sources close to the “Yellowstone” production, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The show’s fifth season will end with Costner resuming his title role as John Dutton, but he won’t be back for any prospective sixth season, the publication stated, citing anonymous sources.
Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator of the program, and Costner’s connection had been the subject of rumors for some months, and on Monday, Costner’s wife filed for divorce.
There is still no official word on when the remainder of the cast and crew will return to Montana to wrap out the second half of season five, according to a number of additional sources.
