Former chef Jack Bissell allegedly kicked his way into the Cumberbatch family home and then threatened to burn the place down while rampaging around with a fish knife.
The five-star Beaumont Hotel in London’s Mayfair district was where the 35-year-old ex-chef previously worked. When Cumberbatch, his wife Sophie, and their three children were inside the house, the alleged incident allegedly occurred earlier in May.
After yelling at the intercom and yanking a plant out of the ground and hurling it onto a garden wall, Bissell used a fish knife to cut the plant free.
According to reports, Bissell reportedly ran away from the scene.
He was subsequently located by police, who were able to identify him by taking a DNA sample from the home’s intercom.
Bissell confessed causing criminal harm. According to the source, May 10 at Wood Green Crown Court.
In addition to a $300 fine, he was given a three-year restraining order prohibiting him from going near Cumberbatch’s family and area.
In front of the judge, Bissell did not present a defense or an explanation for his allegedly wrongdoings.
