Eileen Saki, the Japanese-American actress reportedly best remembered for her role as bar owner Rosie in the iconic comedy M*A*S*H, has passed away. She was 79 years old.
Bob Borgen, Saki’s husband, confirmed her death.
She passed away on Monday, May 1, in Los Angeles, California, following a brief fight with pancreatic cancer.

Saki appeared in nine episodes of the iconic CBS sitcom about a group of surgeons and support personnel stationed at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Uijeongbu, South Korea, during the Korean War.
Saki played the proprietor of Rosie’s Bar, the third and longest-serving actor in the position.
