Andrew Jury, the star of “Married at First Sight New Zealand,” passed unexpectedly on Thursday while being held at the Mt. Eden Corrections Facility in Auckland, New Zealand.
Just hours before a planned court appearance, Andrew, 33, passed away, according to The New Zealand Herald. At the time of his death, he was being prosecuted on multiple counts, including possession of an offensive weapon and assault with intent to cause injury.

His father, Roy Jury, voiced uncertainty over the events leading up to his son’s passing.
Andrew lost away on June 27 in the morning, despite the efforts of medical and emergency personnel, according to Dion Paki, general manager of Mt Eden jail.
The specific cause of his death and its circumstances have not been made public.
