Nick Cave, an Australian rock singer, recently discussed his conversion to Christianity in an interview with UnHerd.
He stated that the best way to be a rebel in the year 2023 is to “go to church and be a conservative.”
Cave, who was known for being anti-establishment in his early career, sat down with UnHerd Britain’s Freddie Sayers to discuss his latest book, “Faith, Hope and Carnage.”
Cave’s early career was marked by his opposition to the establishment.
Cave, a vocalist who once sang with the post-punk bands The Birthday Party and Bad Seed, is interested in religion, spirituality, censorship, and politics in his work.
Nick Cave's early punk music energy was all about "fucking with people," he told me.
Me: "How do you fuck with people in 2023?"
Cave: "You'd go to church and be a conservative."
