On Monday night in northern California, while attending the Sacramento Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans game, a spectator tragically lost their life, according to a statement from the Kings.

According to the release, EMS responded and attempted CPR but were unsuccessful; the guest subsequently passed away.
Reportedly, the guest was a young man in his thirties.
The Sacramento Fire Department, which was the first to arrive, reported that the CPR attempts were ineffectual for more than twenty minutes.
The man’s cause of death has still not been revealed.
The Kings were defeated by the Pelicans, who obtained a tally of 127-117.
