According to reports, two American vacationers were reportedly discovered dead on Tuesday in their hotel room at the opulent Rancho Pescadero in El Pescadero, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Around 9 p.m., neighborhood police and paramedics responded to the site and discovered the couple unresponsive.
The Baja California Sur Attorney General’s Office informed the media that both victims died as a result of drug intoxication.
Before they were found, they had apparently been dead for nearly 10 hours. According to the site, police discovered no evidence of obvious foul play.

A well-known luxury hotel is the Hotel Rancho Pescadero, which is situated in the charming village of El Pescadero.
The inquiry into the killings is now under the control of the regional Attorney General’s office.
There have been other comparable occurrences of American visitors in Mexico passing away from apparent gas poisoning, albeit the chemical that caused the fatalities is still unknown.
