Sika Anoa’i, the legendary WWE wrestler, died on June 25 at the age of 79.
His nephew, Jahrus Anoa’i, announced his death in a poignant statement on social media Tuesday.
Anoa’i, the father of current WWE star Roman Reigns, was a well-liked part of the WWE community.

The Hall of Famer’s nephew did not explain what caused his death.
Anoa’i was last seen on WWE in 2020, when he stood next to his kid after a bout at Hell in a Cell against his cousin, Jey Uso.
In 2007, the great wrestler was rewarded for his achievements and talents by being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012.
