Jean Boht, a well-known actress best known for playing the matriarch Nellie Boswell in the 1980s sitcom “Bread,” reportedly passed away on Tuesday in London’s Denville Hall at the age of 91.
The BBC reported on Wednesday that a statement from Boht’s family acknowledged her passing.

It is with overwhelming sadness that we must announce that Jean Boht passed away yesterday Tuesday 12 September. Boht had been residing in the nursing facility intended to help struggling actors and other members of the entertainment business.
Boht passed away one month after her spouse, the composer Carl Davis.
